You have a number of ways of hearing from us as well as getting help. Select from a category below to learn more.

When you register and become part of the Run Local Community, whether you visit on your computer, laptop or the mobile app, you can choose to receive updates a number of ways. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Push notifications when a group you're subscribed to is updated with a post.
  • Someone sends you a direct message.
  • Someone invites you to be a connection.

You can update your preferences by clicking on the drop-down menu by your name and then select: Account > Email Preferences.

From registration to race day there are a number of ways we communicate with Run Local Event participants.

Registration: When you register you will receive a confirmation email from us through the Race Roster registration platform. Each event registration is treated as a new email and should end up in your inbox. If you don't see it within a few minutes, please check your spam.

Event Updates & Race Weekend Info: Leading up to your event, communication will come from our main email list hosted with the Mailchimp platform. If you unsubscribe from our newsletter you may not receive important event updates.

I'd like to update my email preferences or resubscribe to Run Local's email list: You can choose what type of emails you receive from us or re-subsribe by visiting our Email Preferences Center.

We also occasionally communicate with our registered participants through SMS from registration to race day.

Upon registering for your event you'll receive a confirmation text message similar to receiving your confirmation email. Three things you can initially do with it:

  1. Do Nothing and you'll occasionally receive event updates and exclusive SMS only promotions to snag the lowest price on future events.
  2. Save the # to communicate with our customer service team. 
  3. Opt-Out by replying STOP. 

I opted-out, but I want to opt back in. How do I do that? Reply START or UNSTOP to (888) 488-2240 and we'll get you re-subscribed.
